About Joy:
Joy Mulbrook CRS, GRI, Broker Associate. I
originally went to work for Gail Flagel and
Marleen Debruyn. Over the years the names I
have worked for have changed but I have been
helping buyers and sellers for 25 years in the
Newton area. I have been married to Dick Mulbrook
for almost 50 years and have 4 children Rich,
Angela, Tina & Tricia. I have 8 Grandchildren.
Experience: Joy has been a REALTOR for
25 years. She enjoys meeting new people and helping
them with their Real Estate needs. Some she
considers best friends. She is active in the
Multiple Listing Service Organization. She is
Secretary of the association and on 4 committees
this year. Last year she was co-chair of Equal
Opportunity committee and they won state wide
recognition for work on Fair Housing. Highest award
for state. She enjoyed making up the calendar that
we received an award for. I have been on various
committees over the years. She has also been Chair
and Co-Chair of Farmers Ag committee for the Chamber
of Commerce and member of the committee for 6 years.
She has been to many Iowa Association of Realtor
meetings and received a certificate from Honor
Society. Participated in CRS round table discussions
and has also been to some National Association
meetings.
Interests: I love attending her
grandchildrens games, baseball, basketball, soccer
and football. I also enjoy watching most Iowa, Iowa
State games. I have horses that I love. I enjoy
reading, painting, walking, my 5 year old German
Shepard and spending time with my family. Visiting
my daughters and their families in Florida and
Texas. My family all loves my homemade bread and
cinnamon rolls. I love to bake!
