About Bruce: Bruce has lived in Newton for over 35 years. After attending college he married a local girl & they raised 2 wonderful boys here. Before becoming a REALTOR, he and his wife owned and operated a very popular downtown business. They love Newton and think that anyone would be happy to live here. Experience: Bruce is a co-owner and Associate Broker of Prudential First Realty of Newton. Since starting in real estate in 1994 Bruce has helped hundreds, possibly thousands of families with their housing needs. Besides selling real estate, he has worked as a property manager and at one time was responsible for over 150 rental units, including all of Maytag’s temporary housing units. Helping Maytag employees from their CEO to summer interns with their
temporary housing needs. He has cut back on my property management and is selling Real Estate fulltime.

Bruce is a Member of the Iowa Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS. He was Newton Board of REALTORS President in 1998 & 2005 & on the Executive Board for 11 years. He was voted REALTOR OF THE YEAR for Newton Board in 2000 & 2003 and was also President of Newton Housing Development Corp. for 2002 & 2003 and on the NHDC board since 1999.

Interests: Bruce’s main interest is his Family, especially his Grandson. He is working to keep Newton a great place for his Grandchildren to grow up. In this effort Bruce is a Board member Iowa Sculpture Festival Founding Board member Centre for Art & Artist. Bruce also belongs to the Newton Chamber of Commerce and current President of ReNew Newton. Bruce is very interested in conservation. He is a member of the Jasper County Chapter of
Pheasants Forever, Treasurer for the Iowa Pheasants Forever Council since 2004 and a Founding Member of the
Jasper Conservation Connection.
